Meet the team: Ntombifuthi Nzimande

Ntombifuthi Nzimande is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies at the University of Szeged, Hungary, where her research is focussed on urban renewal, social housing and community development. Ntombifuthi completed both her undergraduate and M.Sc. degrees in the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, where the former was focused on environmental management in the Humanities faculty and the latter on using multispectral sensors for mapping indigenous trees. She is also a certified English language trainer. As an aspiring academic with a mixed educational background, Ntombifuthi has been involved with numerous Erasmus Plus Programs in Europe and has attended conferences and collaborated on papers which have driven home the importance of employing soft skills into everyday life. She hopes that through continuous collaboration with authors from different fields, she will be able to learn and adopt new soft skills that will assist in solving transdisciplinary issues.
