Meet the team: Judit Beke, PhD
- Co-Creator; President: Board of Trustees; Editor-in-Chief of GJSD
Dr. Beke is an action-oriented professor with over 29 years of experience in education, across various age groups. She is currently serving as a full-time associate professor at Budapest Business School (BBS) since 2001. For 15 years, she was the director of the BSc International Business Economics double degree programme where she was closely involved in complex management issues, curriculum and syllabus design in collaboration with partner universities in Europe and Asia. She regularly participates in teacher and staff training mobility programmes. Dr. Beke is the author and co-author of several research papers and books. Although her research interests are broad, she has a particular interest in the economic and social aspects of sustainable development, as well as sustainability in agriculture. Furthermore, as a member of the Sustainability Network at the university, she has also been the organiser of several international scientific conferences, symposia and related programmes on sustainability.
With a strong commitment towards students’ social and academic development, Dr. Beke remains passionate about empowering students outside the classroom.
