Meet the team: János T. Füstös

Dr. János T. Füstös is a professor at the Computer Information Systems and Business Intelligence Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver, U.S.A. His teaching assignments are in the business computing field, including web development and administration, and information systems security. He has taught several business computing courses at universities in Germany and Hungary and written several books on web development, edited conference proceedings, published numerous research articles, and conference papers. He participated in advisory roles in learning management system (LMS) selections and migrations. Dr. Füstös is a program evaluator for information systems and cybersecurity programs at the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) which is accrediting college and university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology at the associate, bachelor, and master degree levels. He contributed to model curriculum development at ACM creating guidelines for cybersecurity programs in the U.S.A. He has a wide range of industrial experience, and also worked as an R&D research fellow at the UNESCO supported National Center for Educational Technology in Hungary.
