The GiLE Journal of Skills Development (GJSD) published by the GiLE Foundation is proud to present the GiLE4Youth International Conference, which will be held on the 29th April, 2021. The conference will bring together students and young researchers, as well as offer a unique networking opportunity for teachers, trainers and academics. The GiLE Foundation advocates for the development of specific key competencies among the youth and a greater level of solidarity, collaboration and synergy in youth-focussed initiatives. The conference topics highlight the role of developing character building, digital competencies and communication skills in order to boost youth employability.

General information:
Yes, if they pay the registration fee for the conference. Co-authors of the same paper are also required to pay the registration fee separately.
All Participants need to do a presentation or poster, and they may or may not submit a full paper for publication. Attendees do not need to do a presentation or poster, or even submit a paper. Instead, they can join the conference to listen in and enjoy the presentations of others and they may also participate in the online workshops and training sessions that will take place during the conference.
Presentations and articles may have a maximum of four (4) authors. Only registered authors can attend the Conference. If co-authors would like to attend the conference, they will have to register separately.
No. The official language of the conference is English.
Payment:
Once you have received an abstract acceptance message, you can pay your registration fee online using PayPal or a debit/credit card. Cash payments will not be accepted. Your acceptance message will be sent to the email address that you mentioned in your application form. You will receive a link where you can process your payment as well as our foundation’s banking details if you prefer to do an electronic transfer.
Yes. For written cancellations received on or before 12 April 2021, 90% of the registration fee will be refunded. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date. All cancellations must be sent to [email protected] and addressed to the Conference Organisers.
All refunds are subject to a 5 euro/1.600 HUF standard processing fee.
Formatting requirements:
The abstract cannot exceed 150-200 words. The abstract should contain a description of the thematic scope of the study, the mentioned methods that were used in the study and the main conclusion, if applicable. The abstract should include maximum 5 keywords in alphabetical order. You will have to upload the title and the keywords separately.
The manuscripts must adhere to the Author’s Guide for the general manuscript format and style accepted by GJSD.
No. You can prepare an oral speech (presentation), a pre-recorded speech or a poster presentation.
The maximum talk length is 15 minutes (+5 minutes for Q&A). If you are presenting, please stick to this: time keeping is important.
Pre-recorded presentations cannot exceed 20 minutes. In such cases, there will be no Q&A afterwards, but audience members can still meet the presenters in Howspace.
Publication:
Yes. All full paper submissions will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based on originality, research depth and accuracy.
All the full papers will be published in a (digital) Conference Proceedings and the best high-quality papers will be published in the GiLE Journal of Skills Development (GJSD).
